Celebrating Valentines day by loving the Wetlands
Posted by Nobanda Primary Enviro Club, South Africa on 20 February 2020

Nobandas Eco-club celebrated valantines day by loving the wetlands and enganging in wetland lesson and making a model that depicts how the wetlands clean, purify & filter harmful waste from the wetlands. The lesson was of high importance to the school since it is wetlands month, and learners now have a broader understanding of what is wetland and how does it work, since approximately a 100 000 species of plants and animals live in the wetland and also that more than 30% of carbon dioxide content is sequestrated in the wetlands and that is why wetlands needs to be preserved and sustain.
