Water Pledges
Water Pledges

Today Julia from WESSA came to speak to our little one about SAVING WATER. We acting out the water cycle using costumes and a water wheel and learners were able to understand how the water cycle replenishes and cleans our water. This however is still insufficient to meet our growing thirsty. Using a 2 litre bottle of water, we were able to illustrate a simple concept showing the children that only 1% of the worlds water is drinkable. Unfortunately, we are using water at a much faster rate than nature cycles can renew. We then made pledges to save water and placed out pledges on coloured star. We folded the wings of each star and put it on the water to open up as flower. The children were highly impressed
