Global School of the Week goes to ITEP Bas Landry
Posted on 15 May 2017

Congratulations to the Team from ITEP Bas Landry from France on being this week’s Global Team of the Week.

The team from ITEP Bas Landry (Team Plic Ploc les bretons) is a fantastic team of eight children from Rennes with additional educational needs. As well as completing eight Challenges, this team has made it their mission to tackle water waste around their city. For example, they created their own Challenge, repairing the dripping fountains of their city, and encouraging other citizens of Rennes to engage in water saving activities. They even wrote a letter to the mayor to ask for help in repairing the fountains! Last week, they led a water saving campaign aimed at other schools in their city, and at the city's water service!

The Team is now focussing on their Water Festival preparations - a three day long Festival to which other schools in Rennes will be invited!
