Team of the Week Goes to Gerald Griffin NS!
Posted on 20 June 2016

Congratulations to Team Gerald Griffin NS from Ireland for winning this week's Global Team of the Week award!

They have completed a lot of fantastic challenges which have seen them also awarded Team of the Month for Ireland and invited to their national celebration event later in the term with four other top Irish teams.

The team from Limerick made the most impressive water pumps that Water Explorer Ireland have seen so far! A Civil Engineer visited their classroom to talk about how water is treated and supplied to their homes. They then made the Archimedes Screw; one of the earliest pumps known to man!

Check out their collage of secret water hot-spots around their school;

Gerald Griffin have completed nearly all of the fresher, secret, precious and global wtaer challenges, saving loads of water and earning lots of points in the process!

They have set a great example for other teams across the world; a big well done Gerald Griffin NS!
