Water links to almost everything in the world and over 2 billion people live in countries experiencing high water stress, which is why it important to educate young people and encourage them and their local community (no matter where they are in the world) to save water and spread the water saving message.
Water Explorer inspires and equips students aged 8-14 all over the world to take bold and powerful action to save our precious water through fun water saving Missions. Take a look at our infographic to see the fantastic results the programme had from 2015-2019. You and your team will have the chance to add to this huge impact through completing the various challenges.
Hear what teachers who have got involved with Water Explorer have to say about it in this short video.
A flexible programme
Whether you are a small club or hoping to run a whole school project, Water Explorer’s challenges can be adapted to best fit your learning objectives and the time you have available. All of the challenges are fully resourced and student-led, so the programme requires very little planning.
Whether you’re looking for a way to find out more about water, tackle an SDG, or simply have some fun, dive into our water saving Missions. All you need is a group of young people and a group leader to run the sessions. We recommend Water Explorer to school classes, year groups, Scouts Brownies, Cubs and Guides, Eco-clubs, faith groups, after-school groups, and everything else in between!
